Bolt Hosting: Deploy Your GitHub Export

Bolt Cloud already provides hosting, databases and domains. VibeNest offers another deployment destination for compatible apps exported to GitHub.

One Free server per account, with no credit card and no expiry.

VibeNest and Bolt at a glance

These are different billing and runtime models, not equal-resource price quotes. Include your application, database, storage and optional services in the total.

Before you move your app

You own the code you create in Bolt. Before moving its hosting, inventory database, authentication, storage, functions and secrets. Keep external services connected or migrate them explicitly; a new PostgreSQL instance does not replace every Cloud service.

Keep Bolt Cloud for its integrated publishing workflow. Consider VibeNest for a compatible GitHub app that needs container hosting and evidence-based deployment diagnosis.

  1. 1. Connect your repository

Use a public GitHub URL or connect the read-only VibeNest GitHub App for the exact private repository. Review the detected runtime and build settings.

  2. 2. Configure dependencies

Provide required secrets and database settings. Size the app and services for your server; the Free tier will not fit every workload.

  3. 3. Verify the live app

Open the HTTPS VibeNest address and test the app's main flow, database access and persistent files. Build success alone does not prove the app works.

Frequently asked questions

What does VibeNest cost? +

One Free server per account, with no credit card and no expiry. Includes 256 MB RAM, 0.5 vCPU and 4 GB storage and an HTTPS VibeNest subdomain. Paid hardware plans start at $7.00 per month. AI credits and optional services are separate.

Can I connect my own domain on VibeNest? +

Every deployed app gets an HTTPS VibeNest subdomain. Self-service custom domains are not available yet.

What happens if deployment fails? +

AI Deploy Rescue reads build and runtime evidence, explains a likely cause, and suggests a next step. Supported fixes can be reviewed before applying them. Missing secrets and application code changes may still need your input. Platform-triggered AI Deploy Rescue is paid for by VibeNest. Other AI tools can use credits; check the displayed cost before running them.

Does moving PostgreSQL move the entire backend? +

Managed PostgreSQL is available. Your app and database must fit the selected resources; moving a database does not automatically move authentication, file storage, realtime subscriptions, or functions.
